Starting now till the end of December The Barrington Veterinary Clinic will be collecting donations of non parishable food items for the RI Food Bank. For every donation brought in, you will have a choice of a FREE nail trim or nail painting for your pet. You can schedule your appointment when you drop off your donation or bring in your donation at the time of your appointment. The Providence Animal Rescue League is a proud to be a recipient of the ASPCA's "Share the Love" grant in partnership with Subaru. On December 1st help us to Stuff that Subaru! At Subaru of Somerset in Somerset, MA. We'll be setting up shop in the main show room from 10-4 collecting donations off our tailored Holiday Wish List with the goal of filling at least ONE whole Subaru! Other festivities include Pet photos with Santa, a booksigning with Traer Scott and "Ask the Trainer" with Outbound Hounds, raffle prizes and more!

Pet Friendly Holiday Photo Booth
From 10am-3pm at Johnny's Barkin' Bakery to Benefit the Animal Rescue League of Southern RI.
Holiday photos do not have to be for pets only!
The last session was so popular, that Johnny's is kind enough to host another event for those that didn't make it.
The photos will be by Clara Smart, our shelter photographer and volunteer. The price is only $15 for one pose or $25 for two. This price includes a print and a high resolution digital file. All the proceeds go directly to helping the animals at the shelter.

Herding Dog Meetup Group: Bi-month
This is a bi-monthly meet-up group for herding dogs and their owners. The group meets every other weekend on opposite days at Colt State Park in Bristol, RI at 11am. We ask that dogs are of herding breeds, get along with other dogs, and are up-to-date on shots. our usual time is 11am.

Services for Animals (VSA) appears Saturday mornings on WJAR Channel 10 at approximately 9:15 AM with a cat or dog that available for adoption and is currently residing at the Providence Animal Care and Control facility. Through this segment, the Providence Chapter has had great success with finding many, many animals a forever home.

Public Square Tuesdays at Kennedy Plaza!
Join PARL at Kennedy Plaza in downtown Providence for Public Square Tuesdays!! Non-profit agencies from Rhode Island and beyond will gather to present their missions with an interactive approach in a fun, urban setting. Running every second Tuesday of the month from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM on the sidewalk along Burnside Park. From the arts and humanities to fitness and the environment, Public Square Tuesday plays host to a tremendous variety of action. Upcoming dates: July 13 (PARL will not be attending), August 10, September 14, October 12.
