Fundraiser golf tournament at the Alpine Country Club, Monday, July 5th to benefit Animals Depend On People Too, helping abused, neglected, homeless pets find a new “furever” home. If you don't golf, you can join us for a great dinner and raffle that night.

CritterKind Summer Camp
Registration for the RISPCA’s annual CritterKind Summer Camp is now open! Camp will run in three week-long sessions, sorted by camper age, and space is still available in each group. Camp times are as follows:
* Monday July 12th – Friday July 17th : Ages 5-7 years, 1pm – 4pm
* Monday July 19th – Friday July 23rd : Ages 8-10 years, 1-4pm * Monday July 26th – Friday July 30th : Ages 11-14 years, 10-2pm
This year’s theme is Do It Yourself Pets. During each session, campers will learn a myriad of ways they can enrich the lives of animals around them, safely and inexpensively.

Walk N Wag Challenge
Join the Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association in conjunction with Hill’s Pet Nutrition when they host the Walk ‘N Wag fitness challenge at Goddard Memorial Park in Warwick and kick off the 8 week Walk ‘N Wag Challenge. The program is FREE and open to owners and their dogs of all fitness levels. Give your favorite pooch a walk around Goddard Park and listen to veterinarian, Dr. Amy Karls’, seminar on canine obesity. There will be food and giveaways.
Prizes will be awarded to winners in a variety of categories and everyone who finishes the challenge is entered to win a grand prize.

14TH ANNUAL EAST GREENWICH ANIMAL PROTECTION LEAGUE HOUND HIKE

The East Greenwich Animal Protection League (EGAPL) will hold its 14th annual Hound Hike pet walk/fundraiser on Sunday, September 26th, 12 pm, at Goddard Park, Warwick, RI.
EGAPL’s biggest fundraiser of the year is a fun-filled day for any animal lover! Walkers are encouraged to bring their dogs, walk the beautiful park trails together, gather samples of pet-related treats and information offered by participating dog food and pet product companies, enjoy music, raffles, and a free lunch!
Anyone who raises $50 receives a collectable 2010 Hound Hike t-shirt. The first 150 registrants receive a bag of goodies for owner and pet. All money raised goes towards the all-volunteer, no-kill shelter, as well as for food and medical care of the area's homeless animals.
Pledge sheets are available at Greenwich Bay Animal Hospital, Stop&Shop, Dave's Market, Allie's Tack & Feed, Ocean State Veterinary Specialists, Critter Hut, Bone Appetit, Petco, EG Main Street Coffee, Salty Dog and many more locations.
To join the Hound Hike, go thru the main park entrance to the carousel/beach area. Registration begins at 12:00PM. Fee per hiker is $20.00. The 2-mile walk starts at 1:00PM. Rain or Shine. All dogs must be leashed. For more information call 885-1158 or visit EGAPL website www.EGAPL.org.

Non-profit agencies from Rhode Island and beyond will gather to present their missions with an interactive approach in a fun, urban setting. Running every second Tuesday of the month from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM on the sidewalk along Burnside Park. From the arts and humanities to fitness and the environment, Public Square Tuesday plays host to a tremendous variety of action.
