Support police dogs at ‘Hearts & Paws’
K-9 Valentine fund raiser, Feb 11

Join Vested Interest in K-9s and 12-year-old Samantha Gagnon from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Especially for Pets, 95  Washington Street, Village Shoppes, Canton, MA, to “Open your heart and help protect a K-9.”
Samantha successfully raised funds in 2011 through nonprofit, Vested Interest in K-9s to outfit each of the three Fall River police dogs with bullet and stab protective vests.   She will continue her mission to assist a hard working, dedicated police dog with a bullet and stab protective vest just in time for Valentine’s Day. Her goal is to raise $1006 on Saturday, Feb. 11.
To make a K-9 your valentine, stop by and meet several Massachusetts police K-9 teams who will be visiting Especially for Pets at 1pm and join the festivities.
Tee shirts, car magnets and FREE GIVEAWAYS will be available during the event.  Lorie-Lyn Photography, who will be photographing the event, has donated a Pet Portrait Photo Shoot valued at $150, which will be awarded to a lucky winner.

Animal Prints: A fine art photo gallery
7:00 p.m. at Crestar Picture Framing, 51 Liberty Street, East Greenwich, RI (Off Main Street with plenty of parking)
"Animal Prints" is an event to benefit the East Greenwich Animal Protection League and will showcase the beauty of shelter animals from EGAPL, a private, no-kill shelter in East Greenwich, RI.
In photos taken by Five of 5's Eve Marie Webster our shelter animals will be highlighted alongside Rhode Island models, actors and celebrities such as Doreen Collins (NBC 10's "Rhode Bytes" and "The Unreal Deal"), 92 PRO FM's Barbi Jo DiMaria, Tyler Dobrowsky (Associate Artistic Director, Trinity Repertory), Frank O'Donnell (local comedian and personality), Anne Mulhall of LDI Casting and many, many more. 
There will be a silent auction of more than 20 matted photos. Photos will also be available for purchase at the event. 
Admission is a suggested donation of $10. Admission includes a free champagne toast, appetizers and desserts. Raffle items including acting classes, event tickets and more also available. For more info, call Kim at (401) 996-0726.

Public Square Tuesdays at Kennedy Plaza!
Join PARL at Kennedy Plaza in downtown Providence for Public Square Tuesdays!! Non-profit agencies from Rhode Island and beyond will gather to present their missions with an interactive approach in a fun, urban setting. Running every second Tuesday of the month from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM on the sidewalk along Burnside Park. From the arts and humanities to fitness and the environment, Public Square Tuesday plays host to a tremendous variety of action.
