Recently I found out that
there is a festival that happens in England that is dedicated
to the operettas of Gilbert and Sullivan. I think that that is
fantastic though i am going to have to find a way that i can get
there. I have a job in a parking lot next to the Providence Performing
Arts Center and a guy parks with us who has a part in booking
the shows there. He says that he wont book a Gilbert and Sullivan
show because no one will come. I have a problem with that.
I also have
a problem with fabric that is too thin, paint that won't chip,
and the inability to laugh after falling. Which brings me to the
art here in. There is a small mix here. Physically they are all
about shapes and space, or how a lot of little shapes can make
for larger objects that exist two dimensionally while actually
being three dimensional. Contently they are trying to be the narrative
equivalent of a warm fall afternoon, or a dress with broad black
and white stripes.
Enjoy.
